Right at Stachus
The “Parken am Karlsplatz” underground car park is located right at the start of Munich’s pedestrian zone, between Karlsplatz (Stachus) and Lenbachplatz. From here you can stroll along Neuhauser Straße and Kaufinger Straße into the Old Town – and the Old Botanical Garden is just around the corner.

🌙 At night: entry and access on foot
By car
Between 9 pm and 6 am the entrance gate is closed. You can still drive in at any time: the gate opens automatically as soon as you drive up.
On foot
If you return to your car on foot at night, please use the stairwell right next to the Gloria cinema. It is clearly marked with a car park sign.

How it works
Drive in
Your number plate is recorded automatically at the entrance. No parking ticket is issued.
Pay
Before returning to your car, enter your number plate at the pay station and pay the fee shown. Card payment only.
Drive out
After paying, drive straight to the exit – the barrier recognises your number plate and opens automatically.
